80's throwbacks

Hey guys thanks for stopping by, Last night was a girls night out. It was planned out for a old teachers birthday party and I know what your thinking why would I am go. How about because  the teachers at Rudy and Kelly are all pretty young like 26 and under so yeah. Anyways down at the Norva the Leg Warmers tribute band. So at about 8pm we started getting ready and decked out. So me and Cecilia drove all the way to Downtown Norfolk  which is drive I really dont enjoy. So wee get there and tickets were sold out.ugh...you have no idea how heart breaking cause we were so excited and we got dressed. So we impravisted and went to ocean front and hit The Edge. We had a blast haven't had that much fun in so long and it was without men. I met 3 awesome girls who were cuzins who made me miss mine because I didn't really get a chance to hang out with them or party meet their kids. So yeah moving on from what I missed.

I Passed

So you might not know this but I have been stressed out like crazy these past 2 weeks or so because i started a new job then I started trainginat another plus the photoshoots. Last but not least I had my stateboard for my cosmotology license. The theory part of the exam is the hardest most stressful part. So due to my busy past few weeks. I crammed the last 2 days before the exam, I really didn't think I was no where near prepared. But GUESS what I passed !!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it, in celebration with some of my other girls who tested today we giggled and talked about what we had and how hard some parts were. On Monday I have the practical part of the test, its the much easier part of it. After I pass the practical part I am offically licenced cosmotolgiest as of now I have my temperary So wish me luck on Monday. I also got some cool stull from a blog party I am participating in, I made a short videeo on what I recieved .  =) which i fell in love with the Project Love t-shirts.



Please keep in mind that I know I look like crap, At this point I was running no sleep and just got off a 13 hr work shift so please dont judge.

My First photoshoot

Today I had a very exhilarating moment. I woke up at 7am to get ready to do make-up for my first professional shoot.I had did one while I was at school where I disovered my passion for it.At first I was nervous as I worked on moy first model. I still did a good job but I kept looking over my shoulder at the MUA(Make-up artist) she was much more experienced. When I started working on my second model I was ready to go in the zone. I was so confortable working with Megan, and she made it pretty easy to talk to as well.There were about 5 model and 7 photographers. I am so excited to see what the photos will look like when there done it will be about a week or so they said to do the finishing touches.

You can't tell but i was very tired at 2pm

So my BFF Cecilia wanted to go to the Antique store. I had  never gone before so I joined her and her son. I have never went to a Antique store so I enjoyed myself very much.

Forrest took a shit

My car decided not to turn on while i went shopping looking for some make up for a photoshoot i have this weekend. So turns out it's not the batterey and it's not the starter it just may very well be the revolving fuse which apparently connects more then on simple fuse together. So its not telling the car to turn on . But we wont know this for sure till tomorrow. Due to the time of night it is ,it's to expensive to get the car towed tonight. I'm not sure if I will be going to work tomorrow because i need to call and get the car situated. I really didnt want to have to call out I just started working and i dont think its a good appearance if i'm calling out already. Not that I cant help it......My boyfriend is downstair pissed off. it's not just that he just bought me the car for my bday, but the expense every time we feel we can relax we have money saved boom it all goes to shit because finances happen. Like we knew taxes were going to be crazy this year and we had started saying so that we wont be so hurt but now with the car broke down looks like we are at square one again. on the up side I got my temperary license in the mail today ....wooot wooot. I take my witten on the 27th and the practical on the 30th. So that means that i have to stop and make some study time in my day. because i will be damned if i spent that money to fail just because i was to lazy to study...anyways really tired night night everyones

Sleepless Nights in Virginia Beach

I have not been sleeping well anyone else have that problem. Do you know how aggracating it is to be exteamly exhuasted and not be able to get a nights rest. You would think my lack of sleep would come from noise,cops,sirens,people being loud. But no this is due to me just waking up ever hour for no reason at all and to top it off every hour felt like I had a full night rest so after I wake up I just lay there. Trying to figure out how to put myself back to bed. Literally! I count sheep I sing a song, I do the zumba steps in my HEAD come on its ridiculous. So then to finially sleep to wake up 60 minutes later. WHAT'S WRONG? So last night I was tired and I had work today so I was desprate I took to Melotonin needless to say I passed out about 30 minutes later. I woke up looked at the clock whoa3 mintues before I have to start work. Half way dressed in grey aero sweats and cute tee,wraped my hair in a bandana, and I was off to work 2 minutes before I had to start. Did I feel rested you ask NO i felt like i closed my eyes and then poof i was up. I need help what else should i try and dont say glass of warm milk i'm lacktose intalorant.....

Underwater Bird

So tonight i had one of best experience with a close friend of mines. She invited me to observe a underwater shoot that she was contracted to do I included some photos as well as her blog because she's going to what these photo. I had a chance see what make up products work best underwater and wont run. So I hope that i get thee opportunity to do an underwater shoot on my own it seems like it would be a magical experience. I know it sound corney but yes it was magical. I didnt get the underwater i just got the after shots when the make up was done.
